Altea is one of our favorite places to work on the Costa Blanca - a whitewashed Old Town climbing toward a church crowned with blue-tiled domes, narrow alleys lined with artist studios, and viewpoints that open suddenly onto the Mediterranean. Above the town, Altea Hills offers a completely different feel: wide, open, and dramatic, with the whole coastline laid out below.
We come here often for all kinds of sessions - a couple planning their next chapter, a quiet secret proposal in the old streets, or a full wedding celebration overlooking the sea.

We're Yuri and Darina, a husband-and-wife photography duo, and Altea is one of the villages we come back to most often on the Costa Blanca. We know it well enough to work here without needing a day to scout first - which alleys hold the best light at which hour, which viewpoints are worth the climb, and which corners most visitors never find.
Because we shoot both proposals and full weddings here, we're used to reading what a session actually needs - sometimes that's staying invisible while you have your moment, sometimes it's directing a full day of celebration. Either way, we bring the same documentary approach: capturing what's real, not staging what looks good.

Is Altea only reachable as a day trip from Valencia, or can you shoot
here directly?
We're happy to plan a session entirely in Altea without any need to
combine it with Valencia - though some couples do choose to pair the
two if they're staying in the region for a few days.
Do you offer both photo and video for any type of session in Altea?
Yes - all three types of sessions (proposal, engagement, and wedding)
are available as photo-only or combined photo and video packages with
our husband-and-wife duo.
Do you travel to other villages near Altea, like Calpe or Moraira?
Yes - Altea sits right in the middle of our usual Costa Blanca route, so we're just as happy to shoot in Calpe, Moraira, or elsewhere along the coast if you'd rather use Altea as a base and hold your session somewhere nearby.
